The 5-hydroxytryptamine induced platelet aggregatíon has been proposed as a indirect method ofserotoninergic function, because the ínvolvement of 5-HT2A receptors contains in platelet membrane in this aggregatory response. The aim of the present report is to study and assess the serotonin índuced platelet aggregatíon ín human platelet-rich plasma, alone or potenciated by ADP, as a preliminary phase before the application in the study of psychiatric dísorders
